The magic of queerness
Participants in this workshop will learn about the history and purpose of LGBTQ+ Pride Month, LGBTQ+ icons throughout history, and the delight of being queer, trans, nonbinary, and otherwise LGBTQ+. Participants wil brainstorm and learn how to consciously honor pride year-round.
Enhancing eq
Participants will learn about the importance of emotional intelligence and explore methods of boosting emotional intelligence, personally and in the workplace.
honoring asian heritage month
Participants will learn about the history and purpose of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month (AAPIHM), appreciate and come to understand the challenges of Asian and Asian Pacific American experiences in the United States, and brainstorm and learn about how to consciously honor AAPIHM and learn how to take action in practical ways.
values-based living
Participants will learn about values, the importance of values-based living, and consider what their personal values are and how to chart a life’s compass with values in mind.
Basics of Boundaries
Participants will develop an understanding of various definitions and the purpose of boundaries and how they impact relationships with self and others, consider what boundaries are necessary in their lives at this time, and brainstorm how to implement necessary boundaries.
Working within white supremacist systems
Participants will learn about the facets of white supremacy and how they show up internally within each of us and brainstorm and learn about how to consciously honor and take action against it in practical ways.

I take a multilayered approach to creating thoughtful written and audio content for a variety of audiences. In the past, I’ve written about mental health, intersectionality, and racism. Because of my extensive academic training, I’m also a solid academic writer if that’s your style. #citations

sensitivity reading
Sensitivity reading is when someone from a particular social location or identity reads your work to make sure that your work is as culturally humble as it can be, and to consider social oppression and inequality from another perspective than your own.
It’s best to choose a sensitivity reader that holds identities of the group or groups that you are writing or creating content about.
